Start by making an outline of the topics you think should be addressed in the handbook. For example: payroll, dress code, time off, bereavement leave, benefits, paid holidays, etc. Ask your management to review the outline to ensure you've included all the important topics.
Next, begin writing out the policies in more detail. Think about everything an employee might ask about each topic, and try to answer all their potential questions in each section. Be sure to be clear about the ramifications of violating any policy or procedure (what disciplinary action might be taken).
Once you have a draft ready, that is the time to bring in the legal resource to review and advise on the policies that are affected by state, local or federal laws.
Keep the formatting basic and simple until you're done working on the content. Once the text is in its final version, look for formats online using Microsoft's template library or other free resources, and reformat the handbook into a style that will make it easy to reference for the employee, with a good table of contents and index and an easy-to-read layout.
You can easily do this in MS Word.
I just went through this painful process this summer. I do not envy you. At first, I was thinking the same thing, just pick something up on the internet and away we go. Wrong. I had to go over it with a fine tooth comb and insert certain things that were required by my business size by state and federal law and take other things out that did not apply. It was not an easy process, hashing and re-hashing things over (like the nitty-gritties of benefits) with all of the owners and trying to gain some kind of compromise.
If you do go the precanned route, you can pick one up for about $20-50 online. You can also check with the SBA for examples that you can look at to structure your own. Two lessons I learned doing this: Be sure and have your insurance agent and lawyer take a look at it before implementing it, and be sure to place right inside the front cover some type of disclaimer that it is a living document and as such, is subject to change with or without notice.
We bought a template, crossed it with the SBA samples and, in the end, wound up writing our own. I spent many late nights with the good old coffee pot. We worked so hard on it, that we were considering marketing it. I wish you good luck, sir.

In the medical handbook there is this statement
Question 8: HEPATITIS
When there is a history of hepatitis, the details from the applicant should include the date and type of hepatitis.
Note: If the applicant is NOT excessive demand exempt, then the results of serum AST and ALT should be provided. If these are abnormal, then a specialist’s report including hepatitis C antibodies and hepatitis B surface antigen should be provided.

Basically the DMP doctor cannot tell you if you pass or fail. The serum tests will be analysed by the medical office in ottawa and they will determine if you are excessive demand or not. There is no hard and fast rule for hepatitis.
You should study all of the handbook./

Hi George Green, Thank you for your most informative video and sharing what I believe to be the truth of the matter. Yes there is something approaching us and yes all the govts are aware of this event. What I believe also is the actual take over has already happened at the highest end and now it’s mainly all about cleaning up the final pieces

I’ve come to believe that anything that says “Law of Attraction” can’t be trusted. This is just another ploy to keep us in the cycle of confusion that keeps us from reaching or even understanding true enlightenment. People who can’t even take a moment to consider the possibility that this is just another trap cant do so because they are already insnared. At first I was interested, then it leaped to dedication once I saw he made it free to copy. but i couldnt help feeling that it was all a trap.
