Affirmations are statements we think or say to ourselves or other people. An example of an affirmation you may have heard is ‘Day by day, in every way, I am getting better and better’. This may sound quaint and old fashioned, which is not surprising, as it was written by Dr Emile Coue, who ran a clinic in France in the early 20th century. Over the last few years, there has been an explosion of Revolutionary Neuroscience Research discoveries that at last are proving scientifically what us metaphysicians (positive thinking teachers) have been teaching for years. 98% of everything Scientists know about the brain has only been discovered since 1996. 80% of what they thought was true about the brain before 1995, has now been found to be false.
